Things I’m Currently Obsessed With

Trends come and go, but these are a few of my mainstays — some new stuff, some oldie-but-goodies, but all stuff I’ve tried and loved (and hopefully you will, too!).

So let’s break it down! For every product, I’ll share the pros and cons (of real testing!), along with a price point. No gatekeeping here— I’ll tell ya the truth, so you can find what’s best for YOU.

Cardea AuSet Calm Mood Mist

I love a mood mist (or any kind of mist, really). This one is perfect for tuning into your inner chill, especially when you’re having trouble sleeping, focusing, or keeping calm. I spritz it onto our pillows before bed.

Pros: The smell! Amazing. Lavender, frankincense, witch hazel, and bergamot create a gorgeous symphony of relaxing vibes you’ll wanna spray on everything you own.

Cons: I would love if the mist were a touch finer — I made our bedsheets a smidge damp with just one spray.

Fresh Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essence

This is my Rich Lady skincare product. It’s splurge-y, yes, but every time I splash it on, I feel aaah rejuvenated. My skin drinks it up and honestly, I’ve noticed a fewer bumps, less redness, and a better resistance to city pollution (ty, kombucha!).

Pros: Smooths down my skin. I’m serious, my face was SMOOTH, to the point where my husband insisted on stroking it — physical touch is our 💗love language💗. Since I test products like, all the time, I was almost disappointed that after using this, I had no use for things like concealer, detoxing face masks, and other complexion-improving products. Yes, it really is that good.

Cons: The price! I treat myself once or twice a year, but I’d love a more budget-friendly alternative.

Verb Sea Spray

Smells divine — fresh, clean, never stuffy. Delivers texture, volume, and softness in spades. Spray on damp or dry hair (rather than wet) to avoid clumping or sticking.

Pros: Doesn’t gloop together my strands, so I can go longer between washes (a! blessing!). Great for restyling 2nd-day hair, too!

Cons: Very wet, and a little trickier to work with than a dry texturizer spray or matte pomade.

Cheekbone Beauty Unify Multi Pencil

It colour corrects, it conceals, and it never makes a mess. Blends easily with fingers. Soft enough to apply without dragging or lifting product, but sets like a dream with powder — no budging!

Pros: Truly excellent for travel and doesn’t budge underneath foundations and other products. Can be used all over, but thanks to its precise tip, is incredible as a concealer.

Cons: Requires a bit of finesse to blend before setting. I like to press gently but firmly with my fingers to help it melt in.

Saie Glowy Superskin Hydrobounce Foundation

Meant to be applied with hands or brush (fingers work best, IMO). Surprising amount of coverage, silky-smooth finish. Never settles or creases, and delivers a serious dewy finish.

Pros: It’s basically a serum masquerading as makeup, which is the kind of fancy technology I can get behind. Made my skin look positively PERFECT, even when I was riddled with stress zits. I also like dabbing a teeny smidge under my eyes in place of concealer.

Cons: It has a bit more coverage than I’m normally down with, which required an adjustment in how I wore it (apply less at a time, blend-blend-blend diligently as you go).
