Sade Baron Tai Body Oil

Plush and creamy, this is the best stuff to smooth on if your skin’s been feeling a touch stressed. Thanks to fatty acids and ingredients like prickly pear, sea buckthorn, evening primrose, and jojoba, it creates a silky topcoat (if you will) that locks in the hydrating powers of anything you put underneath.

Pros: My skin felt — and I’m not joking — instantly better after using this.

Cons: Since it absorbs quickly, you have to work fast to apply it.

Curù After Sun Facial Oil

A TRUE skin-saver. Soothed sunburns, prevented peeling, and relieved itching after just a few drops. Sells out often, grab her while she’s in stock (I’m not kidding).

Pros: The most effective product I’ve ever tried for soothing sunburns and other skin irritations. Has more of a dry oil texture, making it great for putting on any time of day, including when you’re going to be out and about and don’t wanna look greasy.

Cons: Bottle is way too small for how effective this stuff is — I would like this by the gallon so I can bathe in it every. single. night. The smell also isn’t great (a little nutty and earthy), but considering it’s basically magic, I’m willing to ignore that.

Mifa All-Over Body Oil

When they say all over, they mean it. Both my partner and I have tried it on every inch of our bods: me on my hair and face, my partner on his beard — both to great results!

Pros: An awesome addition to a gua sha routine, and leaves skin glowing. Has a v, v, light scent so you can safely layer it with your favourite body lotions or serums.

Cons: Takes a bit longer to absorb.

Muri Lelu Full Flower Ritual

Cannabis-based skincare that smells incredible and tackles stressed-out skin better than everything else. Comes in a day-night duo: Bloomrise is floral, soft, and sinks into skin — perfect for layering! Mauvaise Herbe is spicy, emollient, and treats skin to moisture while you sleep.

Pros: I love a serum that comes with a dropper! It makes it considerably easier to dole out exactly how much I need (or top up if I accidentally went a little too light — oops).

Cons: The texture of the two serums are different, which means there’s a bit of a learning curve when it comes to dosing (don’t make my mistake and skimp on the daytime serum).

Summer Fridays Pool Time Glowing Body Oil

Shimmery and hydrating is the name of the game here. The gourmand scents of coconut, almond, and vanilla blossom will transport you poolside, making this a true summertime essential. Just make sure you don’t forget to add SPF.

Pros: I adore the idea of a hydrating product that makes my skin look delectable, so this was a must-have for me. The bottle has a tiny opening, so you won’t accidentally spill it everywhere (my worst nightmare).

Cons: I wish it came in other scents and I found the glitter needed a bit of distribution afterwards. Y’know, just to keep it from looking clumpy or goopy.
