Salt & Stone Natural Deodorant

If you’ve spoken to me in the last five years, I’m probably raved about this stuff. It not only smells utterly incredible — it prevents stink and never leaves stains on my clothes. I’ve worn it year ‘round and love it every single season.

Pros: Beautiful gender-neutral fragrances, zero irritation, no staining. They come in two formulas (baking soda & gel), so you can select the one that works better on your skin. Plus, one tube lasts FOREVER— My husband and I buy only have to buy two new tubes once a year!

Cons: A bit pricey.

Kaia Naturals The Takesumi Detox

Packed with charcoal, this is the best formula to try if you’re making the transition from tradish deodorants to natural ones. It has a light smell, and absorbs any and all toxins that might lead to stinkiness.

Pros: Makes the transition to natural products a heckuva lot smoother.

Cons: Can irritate sensitive skin and cause small breakouts as it draws toxins to the surface (you can mitigate this by doing light exfoliation!).

Blume Hug Me Probiotic Deodorant

This fragrance-free formula is as gentle as they come. I’m talking zero irritation, redness, breakouts, the whole shebang.

Pros: Extremely gentle, fight odour like a pro, and keeps underarms from turning into a dessicated husk (thanks to the addition of coconut oil).

Cons: Because of its high baking soda content, it drags a bit upon application.

Boscia Prebiotic + Probiotic All-over Body Deodorant

Consider this your Holy Grail for fighting sweat in the unlikeliest of places. Sure, you can dab it on your underarms — or, you can take the “all-over” part to heart and use it to fight sweat and stink on your feet, back, or anywhere else that feels swampy.

Pros: Has a light ‘n’ fresh scent dissipates quickly, saving it from fighting with your fave perfume. Instead of a twist-top, it comes in a squeezable tube.

Cons: It feels wet when it goes on. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely needs a few minutes to absorb.
