The Absolute Best Body Care Products You’ll Never Wanna Live Without

There are SO. MANY. lotions, potions, creams, and oils on the market, it can be hard to find what’s best for your bod.

But I’ve done the testing — whether you’re searching for the perfect pre-bedtime lotion, a body wash that won’t strip your skin, or a dry oil that won’t leave your skin feeling parched and tight, I’ve got you.

So let’s break it down! For every product, I’ll share the pros and cons (of real testing!), along with a price point. No gatekeeping here— I’ll tell ya the truth, so you can find what’s best for YOU.

$ - Under $20

$$ - Under $50

$$$ - Under $100

Gold Bond Overnight Deep Moisturizing Body Lotion

This stuff is magic in a tube. Dry feet, crispy elbows, flaky patches — there’s nothing it can’t soften. The fact that it has a smidge of melatonin (plus a creamy lavender scent) is just the cherry on top.

Pros: Perfect addition to your pre-bedtime routine, since it sinks in quickly and won’t make a mess of your fancy sheets. If you’re not big on lavender, you’ll love knowing it’s grounded with lush cream, so your skin will smell chef’s kiss while you drift off to dreamland.

Cons: She’s THICC, making it a big of a struggle to get the last bits out of the tube (I solved this by slicing off the top!).

Nécessaire The Body Wash

Smells like the fanciest spa, and is my favourite way to start the morning. It has low lather and is much less drying than drugstore brands. I love the true gender-neutral fragrance — my husband co-opted this as his own!

Pros: No irritation, no residue, and leaves skin feeling (literally) squeaky-clean. The unique twist-top saves you from fiddling around with a cap, not to mention keeps it from spilling during travel. It’s also refillable, making it one of the more eco-friendly finds on this list.

Cons: The low lather takes some getting used to. Resist the urge to use MORE to get more suds!

Method Body Deep Detox

Whenever this badboy’s in stock, I nab it (seriously — last time I stocked up on three bottles). I love that it’s naturally-derived, without the inflated price tag of most “green” beauty prods.

Pros: The smell. MY GOD. I’m talking fresh, fresh, fresh, which is all I want from my cleanser. Silky formula, good lather, and actually hydrates, to the point where I sometimes forget to moisturize after I use it.

Cons: Hardly ever in stock.

Schick Hydro Silk Dermaplaning Wand

Take it from someone who thought the dermaplaning craze was “a passing fad" — it’s not and you need this. It’s beginner-friendly (a.k.a. you won’t slice your skin trying to remove peach fuzz) and has a v comfy and ergonomic handle.

Pros: Comes with replacement heads! We love a beauty gadget that isn’t single-use. Precise and easy to maneuver, you’ll be able to navigate the nooks and crannies of your face with ease.

Cons: Still takes finessing. My hot tip? Keep it at a low angle compared to your face and, perhaps most importantly, apply LIGHT. PRESSURE. Trust.

Dr. Teal’s Cannabis Sativa Hemp Seed Oil Foaming Bubble Bath

I flew embarrassingly fast through this bottle. If you’re expecting the spicy, pungent smell of cannabis, this ain’t it — instead, it’s herbaceous, fresh, and foams like a dream.

Pros: The smell. The foam. And the way it makes every soak feel a touch more luxe (not to mention relaxing as hell).

Cons: Too good to keep around — keep this under lock and key if you don’t want your partner or roomie using it every chance they get.

$

Nudestix Peptide Body Cream

When I say I’m OBSESSED, I mean it. It smells like a dream (zesty yuzu, spicy bergamot and floral lavender) and feels buttery, making it a cinch to apply. Because it has a 3% AHA complex, it actually works to smooth out your skin every time you swipe it on.

Pros: Intensely hydrating. My skin has a noticeable glow after just two weeks, with nary a breakout in sight.

Cons: Takes about 5 minutes to properly sink in, so I’d recommend giving this some time before slipping on your skinny jeans.

$$

Nécessaire The Body Lotion

Packed with tons of good-for-skin ingredients (like niacinamide and vitamins C & E), this fragrance-free formula delivers on hydration. While I prefer a hint of scent, I like that it genuinely is free of any smell, including the chalk-y one that natural, scent-free products tend to have.

Pros: Emollient and easy to slather on. Plus, it’s hypoallergenic so you won’t have to stress about getting any surprise reactions.

Cons: Difficult to get the last dregs of product out of the tube, but slicing off the top will let you scoop it out.

$$

Evereden Golden Body Serum

Whatever is in this stuff may as well be called liquid gold. It has ingredients typically reserved for facial care (like Bakuchiol, a natural retinol alternative), so the rest of your bod can get all the same TLC you treat your face to.

Pros: The smell is phenomenal, but the real high note is how it manages to smooth out my skin and even out texture. The pump top is a real life-saver when your hands are covered in product and unable to grip anything to safe their life.

Cons: She’s a smidge oily (I would absolutely call this a body oil) and takes a bit to absorb. It’s also on the pricier side, but if you’re looking for a hard-hitting treatment, it’s worth the cash.

$$$

Paume All-in-One Cuticle Cream

As a die-hard cuticle oil fan, I was actually excited to make the switch to this instead. It smells herbaceous and clean, and sinks in almost impossibly fast (did I already put it on?). A little dab is actually more than enough to do all your tips.

Pros: Completely non-greasy and perfect for applying when you don’t have to time to sit around with oily fingertips.

Cons: Pricy for the size of the bottle (but I’ve had the same bottle for months and it’s still going strong💪).
